Can foreigners get into clubs in Gangnam?

An honest answer from someone who works inside one.

The short answerWith a reserved table: yes — you're on the night's list and our staff walk you in. Walking up without one: it's the door's call that night, and visitors do get turned away. We don't recommend it.

The stories you've read are real

Search for Gangnam clubs and you'll find posts from travellers who queued, reached the door and were told no. Those stories aren't made up. General entry at Gangnam clubs is at the door's discretion on the night, and nobody — not us, not any booking site — can promise you a walk-in.

We'd rather you read that here than find it out on the pavement at 1 AM. It's the reason this desk does one thing only: reserved tables.

What a reserved table changes

What it costs — the real numbers

Tue–Thu and Sundayfrom ₩700,000 (₩750,000 with the à-la-carte table charge)
Friday and Saturdayfrom ₩1,000,000
Entry fee for table guestsNone — it's included
Booking fee or depositNone — you pay the club directly, on the night
Tax and tipping10% VAT already included · no tipping in Korea

That minimum isn't a cover charge — it's the bottles on your table. On a weeknight, two bottles of house champagne (₩350,000 each) plus the table charge is the whole bill. Split between four people, that's under ₩190,000 each.

These are guide prices. They move with how booked the night already is, and Halloween, Christmas and 31 December are priced separately and much higher. Send us your date and we'll give you the real number before you commit to anything.
